  • (A Different Shade) A Different Shade is a 2007 album from Swedish singer Erik Segerstedt, released on February 1, 2007, and debuted at number two on the Swedish album chart . hair color

  • Hair color is the pigmentation of hair follicles due to two types of melanin, eumelanin and pheomelanin. Generally, if more melanin is present, the color of the hair is darker; if less melanin is present, the hair is lighter.
  • White with a Red Highlight on right side of hair.
  • Pink (sometimes colors, depending on which wig)

  • Of a color at the end of the spectrum next to orange and opposite violet, as of blood, fire, or rubies
  • crimson: characterized by violence or bloodshed; “writes of crimson deeds and barbaric days”- Andrea Parke; “fann’d by Conquest’s crimson wing”- Thomas Gray; “convulsed with red rage”- Hudson Strode
  • red color or pigment; the chromatic color resembling the hue of blood
  • a tributary of the Mississippi River that flows eastward from Texas along the southern boundary of Oklahoma and through Louisiana
  • (of a person’s eyes) Bloodshot or having pink rims, esp. with tiredness or crying
  • (of a person or their face or complexion) Flushed or rosy, esp. with embarrassment, anger, or a healthy glow

Et voila. The new hair color. As you can see, I am less than thrilled. In case you missed yesterday’s photo, I colored my own hair for the first time in ages. I really loved my bright red hair, but I couldn’t find anything similar to it in the hair color aisle, so I decided to do something a little different. This color is just called "Burgandy", but the girl on the box had really bright, vibrant, violet-burgandy hair. This isn’t bright and vibrant, though. This is just a dark shade of blah. I may ask my hairdresser friend if she can snazz it up with some bright streaks or something ’cause this just ain’t gonna cut it.

More Red!

More Red!
This red is actually a step I took to try and get my hair to fade out evenly. With using all the different colors, I often find that I have spotches of hair that have faded and streaks that have not… So I applied various shades of Manic Panic Red Passion, Manic Panic Vampire Red, Manic Panic Rock ‘n Roll Red, and Manic Panic Pillarbox Red for my first ever one color hair.

And for the curious, yes, the nails are real.
